One of the most heart-breaking aspects of Britney Spears' mental health struggles and the years-long conservatorship she endured is the impact on her relationship to her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, both of whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The co-parents had various custody agreements over the years, with Federline at one point having full custody of the kids, and both of the boys were absent from Spears' 2022 wedding. But there may be a bright spot on the horizon.
Jayden, who is 18 is reportedly spending time with his mom in California. Federline moved the family to Hawaii a year ago for his wife's job, but according to Page Six, Jayden is stateside.
“They have been spending a lot of time together,” per a source. “Britney is thrilled to have her baby back,” another source said. “Everything is moving in the right direction.”
Our last update on the strained relationship in the Spears-Federline household came in May, when Federline's attorney revealed to Page Six that the boys had called their mom for Mother's Day.
