There’s quite a bit going on with the cast of The Valley. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are at the center of the conversation following her filing for divorce. Now, he has done a tell-all interview, and she’s responding to his allegations. Plus, a new report says that Jax was forced into rehab to keep his job on the show.
As fans know, Brittany recently sat down for an interview in which she discussed many things, including her issues with Jax that led to her filing for divorce earlier this year. This prompted Jax to respond cryptically online, and now he has done his own tell-all interview in which he made allegations against Brittany.
Like Brittany, Jax did an interview with the Bravo Hot Mic podcast. Brittany then responded to one of the clips that went viral, and the Bravo Snark Side Instagram account was able to capture her comments. In the clip, Jax can be seen saying that despite breaking up, Brittany was still trying to hang out with him. Specifically, he said she was inviting him over for dinner and drinks and requested that he not tell anyone.
One of her comments on the video reads, “HahaHAHAAH LIES.”
She didn’t stop there. She then explained why she wanted to hang out with Jax after the breakup. According to Brittany, “Let me make this clear I was trying to see if we can be friends for our son and obviously we CAN’T.”
Things also didn’t end there as Brittany took to her Instagram Stories. In the post, she said, “Oooooo I can’t wait to record my podcast this week.” She also included three Pinocchio emojis.
There is also more news surrounding Jax. This time, it’s regarding his stint in rehab, which Jax has described as a mental health facility. The U.S. Sun is reporting that the reality TV star and bar owner was forced into rehab. An insider said, “Production told Jax that if he wanted to film The Valley, he had to go to rehab. So he went to save his job. It was a non-negotiable for them. It wasn’t his idea.”
Apparently, this happened following an explosive fight with Brittany during the filming of season two of The Valley. The insider said, “Jax went over the line on this occasion.”
Jax also admitted this in his Hot Mic podcast episode. Jax reportedly said he “lost it” over the Fourth of July weekend after seeing a text from his friend to Brittany. According to him, “That’s where I just saw red, I had an out-of-body experience, I’m not going to lie to you. I went crazy. I threw furniture. Luckily, thank God, my son was upstairs. But that was my breaking point, and then two days later, I ended up in an institution.”
This story is still developing as Brittany has vowed to discuss the situation in a podcast episode. In the meantime, fans can catch up on The Valley on Peacock.
