Mike Evans has been ruled out of the game with an aggravated hamstring.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are taking on the Baltimore Ravens in an important Monday Night Showdown. Though star Mike Evans already caught a touchdown pass, he has been dealing with a hamstring injury.

Even after the touchdown, Evans was shown hobbling on the sideline trying to work out the injury he has been dealing with.

Evans was attempting to haul in his second touchdown of the game, but could not hold on. After the play, he was seen clutching his hamstring in visible pain.

And now Buccaneers WR Mike Evans is down after a very rare drop in the end zone, looks like his hamstring locked up on him.

Evans' first touchdown pass is now a record, as the star wide receiver has become the fifth fastest player to record 100 touchdown passes. He only trails Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens & Marvin Harrison.

Despite Evans setting a record, he has now headed to the locker room with what appears to be the hamstring that has been bothering him. Evans has been one of the most dependable players in the NFL, but it appears his leg has locked up on him.

Evans has been one of the best receivers in the league for years. Through six games, he has secured 310 yards and five touchdowns. In Week 7, Evans had already secured 25 yards and one touchdown before the injury forced him out of the game.

So far, there have been no words on the severity of Evans' injury, but it did appear to be quite severe. Losing him for the rest of the game will hamper the offense, but the Bucs still have Chris Godwin in the lineup along with Rachaad White.

White was nearly not able to suit up and was listed as "questionable" with a foot injury, but he was able to push through to suit up for Monday Night Football. With Evans potentially out for the night, Baker Mayfield and the offense will rely on White even more.

The Buccaneers have been rolling this season, entering Monday with a 4-2 record. They now face one of their biggest challenges of the 2024 NFL season, taking on the Baltimore Ravens. If the Buccaneers win, they will be 5-2 and two games ahead of the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South.

The Ravens are also 4-2 on the season and are searching to catch the red-hot Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North. The Steelers are 5-2, after taking down the New York Jets on Sunday.

Both teams have high-power offenses and strong defenses, so it will be interesting to see who comes away victorious. For the Bucs, they will be without Evans for the remainder of the game.
