The Washington Capitals have revealed that captain and star Alexander Ovechkin will miss multiple weeks due to a fractured fibula.

The #caps say Alex Ovechkin has a fracture to his left fibula and will miss four to six weeks. That likely means it'll be the longest injury-relayed layoff of his NHL career.
