GMB: Carol Vorderman shares her political opinions
Carol Vorderman is currently reflecting on her own mortality in the wake of recent health problems.
At 63, the presenter is a familiar face on British screens and a respected figure in the media world.
But after a health scare that saw her spend the night in hospital, Carol has re-evaluated the pace of her life - and even ventured to predict how long she has left.
In a candid interview with The Big Issue, the Pride of Britain Awards host estimated she might live until age 85, giving her "another 21 years and a few months".
Although these thoughts may seem morbid to some, Carol spoke about ageing with a light-hearted attitude, saying that she's "not remotely worried about dying" and feels she's had a good life.

She also shared that when she dies, she wants to be cremated, quipping, "Put me in that fire, baby."
These reflections come after a tough period where Carol found herself experiencing serious symptoms of burnout.
The former Countdown star is known for her tireless work ethic, but seven-day weeks eventually took a toll on her.
At one point, the pressure became so intense that she felt a persistent "tight feeling" in her chest, accompanied by severe exhaustion.

After heeding the advice of friends and family, Carol checked into the hospital and doctors ran some tests on her.
Although no underlying health issues were found, the experience was a wake-up call that led her to step down from her Sunday radio show on LBC and adjust to a lighter weekday schedule.
One of her radio co-stars, Natasha Devon, issued a supportive statement saying: "I was honoured to call you a colleague. It’s OF COURSE most important you look after yourself first xxx".
Carol has since referred to herself as a "workaholic", telling Unfiltered podcast listeners that she wishes she could tell her younger self not to work so hard.
