Former I'm A Celebrity campmate Melvin Odoom will be holding out for a potential date with Carol Vorderman after her latest cryptic clue.
The radio DJ, 44, confessed to having a crush on the former Countdown star, 63, to his fellow celebrities in the Australian jungle. During the early days in camp, the BBC star revealed his surprise celebrity crush to his fellow campmates after receiving his luxury item. Melvin chose to have a pillow with an image of Carol on it to help him through his journey Down Under.
Now, the maths whizz seems to be teasing a potential date could be on the cards. After he became the fourth celebrity to leave camp this series, she took to her Instagram Stories to simply post a clip of Tulisa talking in camp saying he "100 per cent" had a chance with Carol. The clip heard Melvin saying: "Just one date. I'd be happy," with Tulisa reiterating her feeling that the unlikely link-up will one day happen.

ITV)Speaking of the Pride of Britain Awards that took last month, Melvin admitted to Tulisa in camp: "I was too shy to say hello that day." The N-Dbuz singer then told him: "Melvin, a strong woman like that is gonna appreciate you going: 'I just wanna say I think you're a sensational woman and I'd love to take you out for a drink and get to know you if you'd be happy to oblige me.’"
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph later, Melvin joked: "She could be watching this right now and be thinking, ‘I need myself a jungle man.’" He went on to quip he would take her surname if they were to ever marry.
As the incident was discussed on the spin-off show, Unpacked, Joel Dommett shared a voice note Carol sent into the show. She teased: “Melvin… or should I say jungle man, Melvin Vorderman. Right, question, have you been spying on me? Because only last night I had little Thai food..."
She continued: "Jungle man, keep doing what you are doing, you’re doing a brilliant job. see you on other side." Her message came after Melvin queried if he would take her to a Thai restaurant for a date.
Melvin's crush on Carol continued to get air time throughout his jungle experience. After he and Oti Mabuse arrived back in camp following their impressive 12 stars haul during the Tanks of Torture trial, Tulisa quipped Carol will be "proud' of Melvin's efforts.
The task saw the celebrity on the left needing to move stars along the wire to the famous face on the other side, who would then have to move them along the wire and into a star bag. The duo had 12 minutes to try for the 12 stars as their body tanks of water were gradually filled with the likes of mud crabs, eels, crocodiles and water dragons. Meanwhile, their head bubbles were filled also filled with spiders and snakes.
