Céline Dion Shares Hilariously Relatable Video Of Her Struggling With iPhone Feature

2 weeks ago 1

It seems Céline Dion isn’t “all by herself” when it comes to technological problems.

The Canadian singer took to Instagram to share her struggles with Siri, a relatable problem many iPhone users have experienced. Technology showed its true colors when Dion tried to have her iPhone play her 2024 version of the late French singer Edith Piaf’s song, “Hymne à l’amour” — but her device would only play another Dion hit.

When the music icon asked her device to play her new track, she looked shocked that it did not recognize the command. “I cannot find that track by Céline Dion, but here is ‘My Heart Will Go On,’” the phone replied.

“No! Hello,” said Dion. “No, no, no.”

Apparently feeling hopeful about her phone’s capabilities, Dion tried again.

“Hey Siri, can you play ‘Hymne à l’amour’ by Céline Dion, please?” she asked. Her phone again responded, “I cannot find that track by Céline Dion, but here is ‘My Heart Will Go On.’”

At this point, hysteria seemingly took over Dion. Releasing a burst of laughter, she made one final attempt. Third time’s a charm, right?

This time, the decorated artist tried a different approach. Dion enlisted a “really French” Parisian accent to see if this would help the digital assistant recognize her request. After she uttered the same request with the accent, her phone finally did what it was programmed to do.

With a look of awe and pride on her face, the singer held a “thumbs up” of approval and showed that the power of love and a well-equipped French accent is all you need for Siri to be in compliance.
