Chanel Ayan has thoughts about the future of Real Housewives of Dubai and a cast shakeup moving forward. The glamorous RHoDubai cast member believes it’s time the cast gets a revamp.
Without naming names, Chanel threw low-key shade at one of her co-stars in the process.
Chanel thinks RHoDubai’s casting needs a makeover:
“Dubai housewives need a shakeup,” began the animated Real Housewife. “We need new people. Not people who steal people’s personality that they never had 😂.” Chanel requested the newbies are true to themselves. “So, a shakeup is needed. Period dot.”
Chanel Ayan isn’t afraid to get messy:
In July, Chanel inserted herself into Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Melissa Gorga‘s business. The Dubai housewife accused Melissa of buying Instagram followers. X.com’s @HWjunkie1 posted “Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Kenya Moore, Erika Jayne, and Teresa Giudice are all housewives with less Instagram followers than Melissa Gorga. Let that sink in. 👀.”
Chanel couldn’t believe her eyes. Melissa “can’t have more followers than Teresa or the Kenya Moore?!” laughed the RHoDubai personality. “Did she buy them? 😂😂😂😂 Sorry, not sorry. Don’t care.🤷♀️.”
Melissa was bothered by Chanel’s statement:
During a Watch What Happens Live appearance, Melissa brought up Chanel’s accusation about buying followers. Andy Cohen asked, “More followers than which housewives?” Melissa answered, “I guess than everyone on my cast. Then, she said Kenya Moore. Which I do. I’m very good at marketing, I’m good on social, [and] I’m good on Instagram.” Andy came to her defense. “You’ve been on Jersey for like 12 years.” She interrupted him to say, “14 years. 2010. It’s 2024.” Andy continued, “Also, the ratings for Jersey have been huge. Jersey and Atlanta were both huge together at the same time.” Melissa reminded the audience that she’s been a housewife five years longer than Kenya.”
