If you read the news last week that Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz ended their engagement and were disappointed, then we might have some good news for you. According to some insiders, Tatum and Kravitz’s upcoming project might be enough to reignite their spark.

As announced on Oct. 29 by Deadline, Tatum and Kravitz will join a few other A-listers in Alpha Gang, a Zellner brothers’ production set to film in the spring of 2025.

“They thrive while being on set together and will be able to get through it,” a source close to Tatum told Us Weekly. “Both of them are very professional and there is no bad blood between them.”

But in addition to no bad blood, the insiders hinted at a possible reconciliation too. “Film is their passion, so it could bring them back together,” the source said.

The upcoming movie, which will also star Cate Blanchett, Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux and Riley Keough, will follow a group of alien invaders sent to conquer Earth, Deadline first reported. To not raise any suspicions, they’ll be disguised in human form as a 1950s leather-clad biker gang called the Alpha Gang.

Previously, Kravitz and Tatum worked together on Blink Twice, a thriller in which Tatum starred and Kravitz directed. It is making the movie, which also marked Kravitz’s directorial debut, that the two met and fell in love.

With that said, however, it seems their romance quickly fizzled once the promo tour for the movie came to an end. “[Kravitz] and Channing are opposites, but they always bonded over their love for art and film, and that is what held them together,” a source previously told Us Weekly.

“Ultimately once the project ended, they realized they were on different pages with what they wanted,” the source said. “It fizzled fast after their press tour wrapped. They realized long-term that it wasn’t going to work out.”

Will they working together again be enough to reignite their spark? Only time will tell!
