Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey is expected to play in the highly-touted Monday night matchup versus the Baltimore Ravens. McConkey is dealing with a shoulder injury, which drew the receiver a questionable designation.

McConkey didn't practice on Thursday but was a limited participant on Friday and Saturday. The Georgia product leads the Chargers in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown catches.
McConkey has played a crucial role in the Chargers' four-game winning streak as he's racked up a pair of 100-yard games. Last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, McConkey recorded a season-best 123-yard performance.
The rookie was projected to emerge as the favorite weapon for quarterback Justin Herbert, which has certainly been the case this season.
The official status of McConkey will likely be announced 90 minutes before kickoff when the Chargers announce their inactives. However, it's hard to imagine McConkey sitting out of such an important game.
The Chargers will also get a boost back on defense as Khalil Mack is slated to play.
Jim Harbaugh's Chargers are 7-3, while John Harbaugh's Ravens are 7-4. Fans have been excited for this matchup since Jim was hired by the Chargers.
"They present themselves a little bit differently, but the core is each one of them is competitiveness," said Jack Harbaugh, father of Jim and John, via the team transcript. "Every challenge, they're going to give it a shot and be relentless in pursuing that challenge. I've seen it."
The Harbaugh brothers last met in Super Bowl XLVII when Jim coached the San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens won by a nail-biting score of 34-31.
"Walking off the field at that Super Bowl was like 'There will be another day,'" Jim Harbaugh said while snapping his fingers. "And then, there wasn't for many years.
Flash forward to 2024, Jim is hoping to reclaim the crown from his brother in the Monday Night Football showdown.
Beyond the Harbaugh connection, the Chargers have several connections to Baltimore. General manager Joe Hortiz spent time as an executive with the Ravens and joined the franchise in 1998.
Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman made two different stints in Baltimore. Defensive coordinator Jesse Minter spent four seasons with the Ravens as a defensive assistant and defensive backs coach.
If the Chargers manage to orchestrate a win over the Ravens on Monday, it would further cement the team's new identity as contenders this season.
