Charli xcx has called on major brands to donate clothes to the victims of the tragic Los Angeles wildfires.

On Saturday, Jan. 11, Charli hopped on her Instagram Story with a message for brands who continue sending her care packages as gifts. According to Charli, she's grateful for the kind gestures, but the victims of the LA wildfires could use the gifts more than she could during this chaotic time in their lives.

"As a person in the public eye i am often being sent clothes and other things by brands wanting to gift me something," she wrote."This is very kind and sweet but i want to encourage brands to give to people who really truly need it. any brands reading this please donate to those who have been tragically affected by these horrific LA fires."

She continued, "ATTENTION CLOTHING BRANDS! PLEASE DONATE UNWORN CLOTHING FOR FAMILIES WHO LOST THEIR HOMES IN LA MENS, WOMENS, CHILDRENS, AND BABY ITEMS: TOPS JACKETSPANTSSWEATPANTS BRAS UNDERWEAR SOCKS SHOESSNEAKERS ALL INCLUSIVE SIZING PLEASE EMAIL LAclothing@gmail.com"

The Los Angeles wildfires have impacted thousands across the Pacific Palisades, Eaton, Altadena, and more. At least six wildfires have torn through parts of Los Angeles, Ventura, San Diego, Riverside, and Santa Barbara, with nearly 36,000 acres burned since Tuesday (Jan. 7).

So far, brands such as Fanatics, Baby2Baby, Rhode, Tower28, and BAA, which have provided spaces for customers to donate necessities, are donating proceeds or clothing to city residents in need.
