Charlotte Dawson has come forward opening up about how she's affected by online criticism, particularly a distressing incident involving child services. The celeb, pregnant with her third bundle of joy, uncovered last month that she was contacted by social services amid false allegations of consuming alcohol, sparked when she posted a clip sipping Nozecoa non-alcoholic fizzon her 32nd birthday bash.
During a tranquil getaway at the Lakes Hotel and Spa in Windermere alongside beau Matt Sarsfield, Charlotte, famed for her reality TV days, expressed that the true sting from the ordeal was the thought of children's services wasting precious time on such a call, instead of aiding truly vulnerable kids.
In a chat with the Manchester Evening News, Charlotte confessed: "I get called the most pathetic things and it's terrible when there's actual children who need their help. Anything I do, basically, I get a phone call from social services really."
Despite her transparency online, she can't fathom the accusations: "Because I'm very open and honest, I don't get it. Even though I clearly state that it was a Nozeco and show the bottle, but apparently I'm lying."

Charlotte opened up about the resilience needed in the limelight: "You've got to have thick skin to be in the public eye and I definitely have thick skin, I'm chunky but funky at the moment, so definitely have thick skin. I do have thick skin because I'm used to it but when I am pregnant and hormonal it does get to me."
She expressed her frustration with online negativity, saying, "You see the more negative comments than the positive, and that really annoys me. I have way more positive than negative but it gets to you, especially right now and I am trying my best as a mum and a woman and I don't get why people want to tear you down, we should stick together."
Despite expecting her third child, the indefatigable Charlotte is gearing up to star in Aladdin at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and has partnered with the Hungry Horse pub chain to kick off their fourth festive toy appeal.
Recent research by the company suggests that over two million children could be without presents this Christmas; hence, Hungry Horse has set a generous target of collecting 20,000 toys to bring some holiday cheer.

"Just imagining those two million children not getting a Christmas present is so sad. And I think we really do need to make a difference and Hungry Horse is aiming to hit its 20,000th donation this year."
You can drop off new or gently used toys at your nearest Hungry Horse pub by the 19th December to spread some festive cheer. For further details on how you can contribute, check out: https://www.hungryhorse.co.uk/christmas/toy-station-donation.
