Chris Ramsey, the comedian and Children in Need host, got himself into a comical row with his wife after dropping the pounds. Thanks to his stint on Strictly Come Dancing, which demanded a strict training schedule complete with resistance bands and intense cardio, Chris has managed to slip effortlessly back into his fancy 'posh jacket', reports OK!
Excited about the transformation, the 38 year old Geordie said at the time: "Honestly, I put a dress jacket on today that I wear if I am doing a posh gig like an awards show or corporate do and I could button it! " He gushed, confessing: "I've never been able to button it in my life! Night and day I've lost so much weight. Around my face as well, my posture is better and I'm looking forward to undoing all that good work over Christmas."

Chris explains that Rosie, his wife since a 2014 wedding in their Newcastle upon Tyne stomping grounds, wasn't too chuffed about how easily the pounds peeled off him.
"It's no secret that she's a little bit angry I've lost so much weight while doing work."
Highlighting the lighter side of marital spats, the funnyman added another quip: "Generally, because I've got a fast metabolism I can eat what I want and not be huge, so she's very used to being annoyed at how I look which gives me endless joy."
Chris, who was a contestant on Strictly in 2019 and partnered with professional dancer Karen Hauer, finishing fourth, has revealed in an chat with OK! that he can no longer watch the show after his stint. He explained: "I don't miss it... when I hear this certain noise, I get proper anxiety - it's just before you start and you have to pose on the dance floor in a stupid hat."

Chris went on to say: "It was so difficult, it was so hard. And the professional dancers get credit, but I don't think they get enough credit for how hard it must be to teach useless celebrities how to even walk around that dance floor. It's much harder than they make it look on the telly - give me the stunts any day of the week."
The comedian is currently hosting Children in Need again, a role he's held since 2020.
