TV personality Chrissy Teigen is getting into podcasts by launching a new wellness-themed audio series on Audible.
The model-turned-cookbook author will host Self-Conscious with Chrissy Teigen, to roll out weekly from Jan. 9, 2025 and feature interviews with health and wellness authors and experts like Adam Grant, Glennon Doyle, Peter Attia, Mel Robbins, Gabby Bernstein and others.
“In Self-Conscious, I’m talking to so many people who are masters of very specific fields. Then I get to share all of their collective expertise – it’s the sum of that knowledge that can be a game changer for listeners, as it has been for me,” Teigen said in a statement about the upcoming podcast series.
The audio entertainment company Audio Up developed and produced the podcast for Teigen, who as an entrepreneur has published two cookbooks — Cravings: Recipes for All of the Food You Want to Eat and Cravings: Hungry for More. She’s also known for posting food content on her social media pages.
Jimmy Jellinek, David Thwaites and Jared Gustadt are executive producing the new podcast, while Teigen and her Huntley Productions banner will also executive produce alongside Audible.
“What we love about this series is Chrissy’s ability to make the journey to wellness so approachable and enjoyable. She guides listeners through deep conversations with best-selling authors and advocates with her signature balance of humor, vulnerability and relatability,” Rachel Ghiazza, chief content officer at Audible, added in her own statement.
Audible has production and development deals with other notables like President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, Kerry Washington, Daniel Dae Kim, Lorne Michaels and James Patterson.
