HGTV stars Christina [Haack] Hall and Tarek El Moussa are no longer married, but they still rely on each other for support.
In a preview for their new show, The Flip Off, Christina had a tearful heart-to-heart about the end of her third marriage with her first husband, Tarek (who is married to Heather Rae [Young] El Moussa, formerly of Selling Sunset fame.)
In the preview, Tarek entered Christina’s home to find her distraught. Knowingly, Tarek asked, “You good?” Christina’s responded, “No. Josh and I officially split up.”
“We had a blow up, continued the Christina On The Coast star. He put his “Middle fingers in my face.” She elaborated, “Things with Josh have been bad for a long time.”
Tarek and Christina’s kids, Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9, voiced their concerns about Josh to their mom.
“The kids literally asked me to leave,” Christina says of the end of her relationship with Josh. “They told me he’s not nice to me. Why would I stick around?”
Breaking down, she added, “I feel like I’m in a tornado all the time and I just can’t get out of it. Everything since like 2016 has been so hard and so horrible.”
Lastly, Christina added, “It’s really taken a really bad toll on me.”
Despite both being remarried, Christina and Tarek decided to join forces (again) in a new tv show with their new spouses. The exes starred on Flip Or Flip together from 2013 to 2022.
Christina and Josh Hall were slated to compete in a new HGTV show called The Flip Off against Tarek and Heather El Moussa. While the show must go on, the foursome became three after Christina left Josh.
ICYMI, Josh requested alimony from Christina. Additionally, he “wants the court to eliminate her ability to collect from him.” As far as splitting up their assets, Josh wants the court to divvy up what was theirs before they were married.
This is where is gets even more complicated … Josh asked the court to grant all rights to any shows or specials they produced during their marriage. That includes their new show, The Flip Off (which he isn’t appearing on.)
The Flip Off drops January 29, 2025.
