As the second week of The Traitors season 3 gets underway, everyone is once again talking about Claudia Winkleman’s immaculate highland outfits. Although it was filmed earlier last year, the chilly Scottish weather means Claudia’s looks are designed to not only look great, but keep her warm too – giving us some serious winter outfit inspo.
Although Claudia’s stylist Sinead McKeefry loves to mix high end with high street, there’s one affordable item that’s a consistent go-to, and it’s perfect for keeping you warm as the temperatures dip. Sinead has been using Spanx’s Seamless Leggings as a key part of Claudia’s outfits, and they’re currently on sale for £44 down from £75.

Sinead told The Independent: “If you’ve got more heavyweight items, then they can naturally elevate something – I think that’s the theme of our styling. We do use some heavyweight designers, and then we use them to elevate something like a Spanx legging.”

Sinead McKeefry/Instagram)Although she didn’t reveal exactly which Spanx pair Claudia has been wearing, we’re pretty sure it’s the Seamless Leggings which have a thick, structured look. They also aren’t see-through, so you can wear them on their own in place of trousers à la Claudia.
The Spanx Seamless Leggings have a four way stretch and hidden shaping panels that smooth and hold you in all over for a flattering and comfortable fit. Fit wise they hit at your natural waist, making sure there’s no “muffin top” and give you full coverage.
They have a double-layer waistband that gives additional tummy smoothing, and in the words of the Spanx website, are “center-seam free for no camel toe!” Each pair of Spanx Seamless Leggings are made from recycled nylon to help promote sustainability too.
If Claudia and Sinead’s approval of the Spanx Seamless Leggings isn’t enough, they’ve also gotten some glowing reviews from shoppers. One said: “Best Leggings around, they fit nice the no seams help it lay properly with the form fitting, flexible and extremely comfortable.”
Another wrote: “These leggings were great! They were thick and fit really well. It held everything together. I felt like an encased sausage, in a good way. I would definitely recommend these.”
Whilst a third agreed: “Great fabric thicker, warm and comfy and easy to wear.”

Spanx)However some found issues with the fit, saying: “I returned these leggings. In the booty boost (and all other leggings) I wear a medium. The medium in the seamless leggings runs so small.”
The leggings are designed to be ankle length with a 29” inseam, and you can currently snap them up in sizes XS right up to 3XL. However the website does suggest the fit is “slightly small” so you may want to consider sizing up.
If you need more variety with the length, Marks & Spencer’s Magic Shaping High Waisted Leggings, £22.50, come in sizes 6 to 22 and you can choose from extra short, short/petite, regular and long leg lengths to get the perfect fit. However they don’t have the same seamless design as Spanx’s pair, as they feature a front seam as well as tailored darts around the waist for a flattering look.
