Actor Waymond Lee has died following an ALS diagnosis. He was 72.
Lee was best known for starring as Waymond on the American sitcom Workaholics.
He appeared on the Comedy Central show for more than 40 episodes across its seven-season run.

Workaholics premiered in 2011 and followed actors Adam DeVine, Blake Anderson and Anders Holm playing a trio of best friends working in the same office. The show came to an end in 2017.
The actor's co-starS have paid tribute to him in heartbreaking social media posts.
DeVine remembered Lee as "such a kind man". The actor said he was "gutted" over the news.
"He was always down to do whatever insane thing we wrote for him on Workaholics. He was always game. A true professional," DeVine wrote on Instagram.

The star posted a photo of him and Lee that appeared to be from the Workaholics set.
"Even though I haven't seen him since the Workaholics days this is hitting me like a brick to the face," he continued.
"When I think of our show I think of Waymond," he said, adding Lee would "be missed".
In his tribute post, Holm said the 72-year-old was a "great guy" and "super positive".
"Even though he never spoke on the show, he was always chatting people up on set."
"Goofy and fun, but would drop some real elder wisdom on us," the actor continued.

Holm signed off by remarking, "Everybody loved Waymond".
Anderson shared a photo of him and Lee hugging. "I just don't even know where to begin," his message started on a heartbreaking note.

Referencing Marvel, Anderson said Lee was "the workaholics anchor being". "The workaholics universe just simply doesn't exist without him."
Anderson said the late star was "a peaceful and warm guy".

"He really made my heart smile. Waymond was a great dude".
Lee's death was first confirmed by his family to TMZ. His sister Norine and wife Diane told the outlet the actor died December after complications from ALS.
According to the outlet, he was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disorder in October. He was diagnosed with ALS earlier this month after further testing.
Lee had appeared in many other television and film projects across his career. He notably had a role in the Oscar-winning film Everything Everywhere All At Once.
The actor was also in My Name is Khan, Bullet Train, Pair of Kings and the 2018 horror film The Cleaning Lady, among others.
