Coleen Rooney has hinted that her husband, football icon Wayne Rooney, might consider a stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in the future.
The 38-year-old mother of four, who is gearing up to shine in the popular ITV reality series, reckons that Wayne, 39, could be persuaded to take on the jungle challenges himself one day.
Wayne's commitment as the head coach of EFL Championship side Plymouth Argyle is the only thing stopping him from joining the jungle camp before Coleen according to reports in OK!
Before heading off to the show, Coleen shared with enthusiasm that "If he had time, he'd have a go." She continued: "I am not saying he would go in, but he wouldn't be completely put off. I haven't spoken about it with my younger two boys as not many know, but my eldest son told me: 'Yeah go for it'."
Her second son expressed more concern over the prospect of being apart for so long, however Coleen remains hopeful his concerns will subside, as reported by the Mirror.
With the full support of her parents and reassurance from Wayne, who's got her back while she's away, Coleen is all set for the adventure. She disclosed: "Wayne is supportive. He did say, 'You know you are going to be on camera 24/7? ' but I said, 'Yeah that's the show! '. He is fine with it all."
Facing the challenge of leaving her children behind, she shared, "It's a massive thing as I am so close to the children, I do everything for them. I am a really organised person and so to take myself away from that is going to be difficult. But I've got a very supportive family around me and I know everything is going to be fine."

She also mentioned being scouted by reality TV in the past, stating, "It has been year after year I have been asked to go on a programme and it's always been a straight no."

She admitted the timing has finally aligned, as she continued: "Over the years, there have been different things going on in my life and also, my children have been really young. But they are at an age now where I can go away for this length of time. I also feel it's time to have a challenge for me and do something different. It has taken many, many years but I'm finally doing it. And I have always said if I was going to do one – then it would be this show. I think it will be good for me."
Anticipation is building amongst viewers as I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is set to return to television on ITV1 and through ITVX, kicking off on 17 November 2024 at 9pm.
