A comedian has taken inspiration from one of the biggest names in the business with his recent dress-up costume - and you'll barely recognise him.
The English comedian may only be 36 years old, but he has had a lengthy career in the industry after making his screen debut in 1993 on the TV show The Good Guys. Only starring in one episode, it clearly gave him a taste of what he wanted in the future and encouraged him to go on to seek a life in the spotlight through standup comedy and TV and film roles, including one of his career-making roles in the British comedy-drama series, Fresh Meat.
Starring in the show between 2011 and 2016, the star has gone on to become a household name, hosting the Brit Awards in 2020 and earning multiple television shows following his life and his relationship with his dad, as well as a recently released Christmas special. If you haven't guessed the unrecognisable star yet, get ready because it is none other than Jack Whitehall.

ITV)The London-based comedian took to Instagram on Sunday afternoon, where he shared some hilarious snaps of him and a group of friends all dressed up in Ali G-inspired costumes. Complete with the moustache, bright yellow tracksuit, hat, and glasses, the group was so well put together that they could almost pass for the fictional character made famous in Sacha Baron Cohen's 2002 film Ali G Indahouse.
The group were dressed up to watch the Paddy Power World Darts Championship, which runs between December 15 and January 3. In Jack's carousel of pictures, it appears the men were at Alexandra Palace to watch the event live and were seen enjoying plenty of jugs of beer. Another photo showed them running amuck as they dashed through a restaurant, earning plenty of laughs and amused looks from diners.
Captioning the post: "The darts. The greatest show on earth. Wish I still had the stamina for it. @officialpdc #welovethedarts ", Jack's 3.4 million followers loved the gag and quickly took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Many shared gifs of scenes from the popular movie, while others commended the comedian and his pals.
"Love the outfits", one person wrote. While another person joked: "So that's why all the mediums were sold out on Amazon". Elsewhere, one fan wrote: "Omg this is hilarious!!! Love it". Others were questioning why the group had chosen to dress up as Ali G.
Paddy Power host the World Championship dart competition every year, with 90,000 punters packing into the iconic London venue with many of them dressing up in fun and silly costumes. Last year, there were several people dressed up as The Grinch, others went as Nintendo characters Mario, Luigi and Wario and of course, there were plenty of Ali G costumes as well.
There's no rules around the dress up aspect of the tournament, however it's become a tradition for attendees of the sporting event, along with drinking booze and singing plenty of chants inside the venue. The event continues today with 2020 and 2021 World Champion Gerwyn Price entering the arena.
