A new report is detailing that Kim Richards had to undergo a mental health evaluation this weekend following a strange encounter with the police.
The encounter started after the 60-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum reportedly placed a call to cops on Sunday afternoon which led to a visit by LAPD to Kim, who is currently residing in sister Kyle Richards‘ home.
According to TMZ, Kim told law enforcement that someone had taken her cat and returned it before she then allegedly began to ramble about Kyle and their ongoing issues.
Kim’s odd behavior led the cops to call their mental health team to come and evaluate her. Ultimately, they determined Kim was not posing a danger to herself and others, and did not take her in for an involuntary hold. Paramedics also showed up to Kim’s home but left shortly after.
This incident ended differently than the one that occured back in September which led to Kim being taken for an involuntary 5150 hold after she was described as being incoherent and refusing to leave a Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.
Later in September, another incident occured after Kyle, in an attempt of showing tough love to Kim, who has reportedly fallen off the wagon, tried to evict Kim from her house that she’s residing in to no avail.
Kyle was reportedly told back then that because the matter was a civil issue, she’d have to file an eviction action against Kim to get her out of her home.
Earlier this month, Kathy Hilton gave an update on Kim, stating Kim would be spending the Christmas holiday with her.
“She’s doing well. Yes. We’ll all be together,” said Kathy to PEOPLE.
For the time being, Kim and her sisters are remaining mum on the latest incident.
