It seems that WWE's commentary drama has come to an end.
On last night's episode of NXT, Corey Graves returned to NXT after missing last week's episode as well as a taping of WWE Speed.

"Do not adjust your sets, this isn't AI," fellow commentator Vic Joseph said (per WrestleTalk). "Corey Graves is here live and in living color."
"I am right where I want to be, where passion is everything," Graves said. "Only the hungry survive and pro wrestling never stopped being cool. Let's light the fuse."
This is far off from what Graves said a week ago when he called out WWE for seemingly demoting him.
Graves has been a color commentator for almost nine years now, having worked on every brand under the WWE umbrella. Recently, he was moved to Monday Night Raw alongside Michael Cole after Pat McAfee left to focus on "College Gameday."
However, when Raw made the move from cable television to Netflix, Graves was bumped in favor of McAfee returning.
This clearly left a bad taste in Graves mouth as he continued to call WWE out on social media.

"Imagine chasing your dream," Graves said. "Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you're no longer physically able to pursue your dream."
"Then you dedicate your life to something 'dream adjacent' and being pretty f------ awesome at it. And then, when it's time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you're not famous enough for your own job. Just in case you're wondering where I've been."
Graves would go on to miss the next episode of NXT as well as an episode of WWE Speed on X (formerly Twitter).
Since then, multiple professional wrestling news sites and experts have spoken to the incident, including former commentators Jonathan Coachman and Jim Ross, with the latter saying that "this is the business that we chose" and it has happened to every commentator "multiple times."
Well, it seems that sentiment has stuck with Graves since he has returned as if nothing happened.
