Lawrence is on IR with a foot injury, and Parsons has been out with a high ankle sprain. To make matters worse, star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb left Week 9 after suffering a shoulder injury. Now, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has offered a huge update on both star players.
McCarthy is speaking to reporters and revealed that Parsons is going to be back at practice for the first time in weeks. However, he will be "limited." McCarthy revealed the same thing about Lamb.
McCarthy revealed that they will be careful with Lamb and with Parsons. The team needs to be careful if they are to ensure that their most impactful players deal with lingering injuries.
Ankle sprains can be tricky, and though Parsons had attempted to return earlier, the training and coaching staff shut him down. Now, it appears he is healthy enough to practice, though he will be limited.
Getting Lamb and Lawrence back will be huge for the team, which is currently dealing with a lot of lost players. Dak Prescott was also hurt in Week 9, and was revealed to have a significant hamstring injury. Though he has yet to be placed on IR, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed the team is "likely" to go that route.
Cooper Rush is the presumed starter moving forward. He came in on Sunday and threw for 115 yards and one touchdown. The Cowboys nearly came back on the Atlanta Falcons but lost 27-21.
The Cowboys are now 3-5 on the season and are falling fast in a competitive NFC conference and their own NFC East division. Without Prescott, the team is already in a much worse position.
Should Lamb not be able to suit up again, along with Lamb — the Cowboys will be down three of their most important players. Cornerback DaRon Bland is also attempting to make a comeback from a stress fracture he suffered in training camp.

From McCarthy's presser, it appears that the Cowboys could still get Parsons and Lamb back on the field for Sunday. They certainly need both players to be healthy to take down the surging Philadelphia Eagles.
