Cruz Beckham's girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, still in pain after spinal fusion surgery

The 19-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham, Cruz, has been linked to 29-year-old Jackie Apostel for close to a year, with the singer now opening up about her health woes

Cruz Beckham's older girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, revealed she's still in pain as she discussed her spinal surgery.

The 19-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham has been linked to 29-year-old for many months and recently brought her along for to a family yacht trip in Miami. It was previously said the couple are believed to be smitten after starting dating in June when they were spotted publicly together at Glastonbury.

Jackie, who is a Brazilian singer, recently took to her Instagram Stories to ask for advice after getting a spinal fusion. She wrote over a photo of her dog: "Question for my friends that have also had a spinal fusion - do you guys feel like it gets way more tense and painful when it's cold outside too?"

A spinal fusion is a surgical procedure that joins two or more vertebrae in the spine to reduce pain, correct problems, and make the spine more stable. During the operation, the surgeon places a bone graft in the space between the vertebrae to prevent excessive movement.

Back in October, Jackie posted a snap of the huge scar shortly after she underwent the operation. She told followers that she lost the ability to walk after the surgery and had to relearn how to. She never shared many details of her surgery but said the operation left her bedridden.

"Random thought. Wild to think 3 months ago I was relearning to walk and couldn't get up," she said. "Physically and mentally I had a hard time, took forever to be ok with myself again especially work and writing wise. Our bodies are awesome and capable of so much. Take a moment to be grateful for ur support systems, own willpower and strength, whatever ur going through.

"We all know it's ok not to be ok all the time and hope everyone is taking care of themselves as much as possible/taking moments to focus on mental and physical health. Also, check in on ur friends. Sending everyone health hugs and love!"

It comes after a source claimed Victoria isn't too happy about Cruz's age-gap relationship. A source told the Mirror: "Although Victoria is pleased that Cruz seems happy in his relationship, she does have some concerns about the age gap and whether her youngest son is ready for that kind of commitment.

"She really likes Jackie, and Jackie seems to get on with all the family but Victoria would be lying if she said that her being 10 years older than Cruz isn't a worry. Cruz is still a teenager whereas Jackie is a fully grown woman who is at a different stage in her life and may want things that Cruz is not quite ready for."
