I'm A Celeb: Danny Jones makes his debut on show
I’m A Celebrity star Danny Jones’s mother, Kathy, has admitted she was reduced to tears watching him on the reality show.
The emotional moment came after she flew out to Australia to support the 38-year-old McFly singer. Since entering the jungle, his candid revelations about his two-decade battle with anxiety have tugged at viewers' heartstrings.
He confided in his fellow campmates that he's been in therapy since he was 19 and disclosed a particularly harrowing incident where he suffered a panic attack during a live TV interview. His admission had a profound effect on Kathy.
“That got me a little bit.
“I was laughing at the snake, wetting myself watching him with the snake in his pants," she admitted recalling the moment a reptile made its way into his shorts during the terrifying Mausoleum of Misery trial.

“It’s different emotions isn’t it - I was crying the day after with him.
“I just wanted to hug him. I don’t like seeing him upset - you don’t like seeing your kids upset, do you?” she told The Sun.
Danny’s openness has made him a firm favourite with viewers and catapulted him to the top of the betting to win the show.
According to betting giants Ladbrokes, his odds have shortened to just 4/6 to win the race and be crowned King of the Jungle.

However, latecomer Maura Higgins is creeping up behind him after having her odds slashed to 5/1 to be crowned Queen of the Jungle. This has seen her leapfrog early favourites Richard Coles and Coleen Rooney, who are both currently at 7/1, in the betting.
Meanwhile, Melvin Odoom has joined Loose Women’s Jane Moore as joint-rank outsider at 200/1.
Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati said: "Danny Jones has led the betting from day one, but it's all change behind him, with Maura now hot on the McFly star's heels in the race for the jungle crown."
