Davina McCall has opened up on her shock to discover she has a brain tumour after thinking she was in great shape.
The TV presenter, 57, is undergoing surgery today to remove a 14mm benign brain tumour. The diagnosis came as a huge surprise to the Masked Singer judge, who admitted she went in for a health scan and thought she was "ace it".
Davina shared an emotional upload with her fans as she made the announcement: "I was offered a health scan which I thought i was going to ace but it turned out i had benign brain tumour," she revealed before admitted it is "very rare".

In the meantime, her Michael Douglas takes over her social media during her recovery period. He quickly moved to reassure fans of the presenter's condition.
He said she is in "great shape" but will be "off grid" until she's fully recovered. In a caption of the video, he said: "Hey everyone. Michael here. @davinamccall will be "off grid" for a bit while she recovers from this brain operation. She is in great shape and in very good hands.
"I'll do the odd update from her account here for anyone interested. I'm sure she'll read all the comments when she's able to so feel free to send love [heart emoji] . The support of people is amazingly powerful. Have a great day everyone. Michael xxx."

She revealed the "cruel" remarks left her "frustrated." Sharing her thoughts on social media, she said: "I'm a 5ft 6in woman who weighs 61 kilos. I don't diet. I exercise. I eat relatively healthily and I enjoy sharing that journey with people.
"I'm 57 this year and I'm happy with the way that I look, and I feel absolutely f***ing great. And so I just thought I'd post that there." She concluded: "I can't really do much about my neck and my face unless I fill it with filler."
The star released her first fitness DVD in 2004. She then released another the following year titled Davina: Power of 3, with My Three 30 Minute Workouts. After she had released a total of 14 exercise DVDs in total, she launched her online fitness and lifestyle programme called 'Own Your Goals' in 2019. She said she did so in a bid to help people get fit.
The programme is home to hundreds of workout routines, live fitness sessions, healthy recipe ideas and wellbeing advice.
