Dax Shepard is not a fan of his back hair. Thankfully, his daughter Lincoln doesn't mind helping him remove it.
On the Monday, November 25, episode of his hit podcast, Armchair Expert, the 49-year-old actor, who shares daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9, with wife Kristen Bell, said his eldest offered to shave his back after hearing him complain about his hairy situation.
"So now I was complaining about them [the hairs], and Lincoln said, 'Do you want me to shave your back?' And I said, 'I would love that'. And Lincoln shaved my entire back," Shepard told his co-host, Monica Padman, while his guest, Anna Kendrick, used the bathroom.
After the hair removal, the comedian said he and his little ones noticed the hair was very plush. "I was sitting on the edge of the bathtub, and this little tiny pile of hair was done afterward," Shepard recounted. And I picked it up to throw it in the trash, and I went, 'Oh my God, that's the softest hair I've ever felt in my life,' I had the girls feel it, and we all agreed that's cashmere."
The Punk'd alum explained he has big plans for the hair — he wants to "collect" it and create a cashmere line, citing Brad Pitt's brand "God's True Cashmere" as inspiration.
Padman, 37, then joked, "What if his [Pitt's'] is his back hair, and we didn't know this whole time?" Shepard responded that if that were the case, then Pitt, 60, has "underpriced" his items.
The hair conversation didn't stop there as at the end of the episode, Shepard admitted he would never have his daughter shave his back if she didn't want to, noting he helps her shave her legs.
"I think it is a dirty job. I would have never asked her to shave my back," the CHiPs star confessed. "That sounds, first of all, very vain on my [end] like I've got my kids grooming me now. But she offered, and I shave her legs for her."
The podcaster even brought a sampling of his hair into the studio for his co-host and producer to feel, adding, "Maybe when I'm 60 or 70, I'll have enough for a sweater."
