One of the flight data recorders, also known as black boxes, has been recovered from the American Airlines plane that collided with an Army helicopter and crashed into the Potomoc River on Wednesday night.
In a post on X, CNN's Pete Muntean said Sen. Maria Cantwell's office confirmed the recovery of the black box from the deadly incident.
