Singer and paranormal expert Brocarde said she is being managed by Malcolm McLaren, the manager of British band the Sex Pistols - Brocarde also claims to have married a ghost
Spooky singer Brocarde has revealed she is being managed by dead Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren.
The musician and paranormal expert revealed Malcolm, nicknamed the Godfather of punk, is still managing acts on earth - from beyond the grave.
Brocarde, who claims to have married and divorced a ghost, said she received an unexpected visit from the music mogul while on a walk. She said she was on Denmark Street, in Britain’s Tin Pan Alley, the very location where The Sex Pistols used to live and record when she was “visited” by Malcolm and given advice.
The paranormal expert said the pair have struck up a bond and he is helping her with her career from the afterlife.
Brocarde, said he appeared as she tried to work on her solo album.
“I was sitting on bed with my headphones on listening to all the songs I had written over the last few years,” she said.
“I was trying to select the running order for my album. I was a bit overwhelmed, and I had years of music industry advice swirling in my brain, about all the things I should and shouldn’t do to achieve success.
“In my head, I’d got to the stage where I was thinking Oh f**k this, just follow your gut and just include the songs that you value the most.
“At that very moment, the music in my headphones stopped, and this figure came towards me, it lingered for a while. It was Malcolm McLaren, plaid suit, flaming red hair, a younger version. Strangely I wasn’t unsettled by this presence at all, in fact my first instinct was to turn my headphones back on and carry on listening to my music.
“When I tried listening to my songs back, some just wouldn’t play, and others played over and over even without them being on repeat, it was a strange phenomenon, which I really have no explanation for.”
She said the star has continued to give her advice, mainly saying to her: “Continue to f**k the rules, be immortal.”
She added: “These were the words echoed around the room for a while, before his apparition faded and the spirit disappeared.”
In November Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones spoke about performing with fellow bandmates drummer Paul Cook and bass player Glen Matlock (who was kicked out of the band’s original line-up and replaced with Sid Vicious), with Frank Carter of Gallows and The Rattlesnakes replacing Lydon on vocals.
During an interview on the Rockonteurs podcast, Jones described the latest tour as “a different vibe” from playing with singer John Lydon.
