Dell expands its new AI PC portfolio with Unified branding

Dell has unveiled a new AI PC portfolio for personal and professional computing at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The company has unified its brand across PCs, screens, services, and accessories to help customers find the best technological solutions. The new selection promotes collaboration, creativity, and productivity, making it easier to discover the ideal device under the Dell brand.

Michael Dell, chairman and CEO, Dell Technologies at CES 2025 said, “The PC is the most important personal productivity device of our lifetime and it is being transformed by AI. Dell has driven PC innovation for the last 40 years and we are well positioned for this moment. Our new, streamlined portfolio of AI PCs is here to deliver the future of computing.”

Dell has launched three product categories to address essential customer needs: Dell for leisure, school, and work, Dell Pro for professional productivity; Dell Pro Max for peak performance. These categories are designed to help buyers find their ideal AI PC.
Beyond the Base, there are two tiers: Plus for scalable performance and Premium for maximum mobility and design.

Dell Pro laptops

Dell Pro laptops are intended for business professionals and have a fresh, clean, and timeless style. These laptops are claimed to be among the smallest and lightest in their class, with tough materials that can survive three times as many hinge cycles, drops, and bumps as competitors. According to the business, Dell Pro desktops and notebooks have been revamped to set a new standard for professional PCs. They offer great battery life, strong on-device AI, Copilot+ PC experiences, and consistent productivity in the workplace, home, or anywhere in between, with options for Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen CPUs.

The Dell Pro 13/14 Premium is a lightweight and powerful laptop ideal for executives, sales managers, and consultants. It comes in 13 and 14-inch display sizes and weighs approximately 2.36 pounds. This machine has a battery life of up to 21.2 hours, which is 51% longer than the previous model. The device improves speed by 36% in multithreading, 19% in single-thread, 82% in graphics rendering, and 3.5 times faster AI than the previous version. Additionally, it also includes an 8MP camera with HDR for collaboration.

The Dell Pro 14 Premium is the first commercial notebook with a Tandem OLED display, which is 24% more power efficient and 49% lighter than standard OLEDs. It is said to offer bright, vibrant colour for presentations and conference calls, and it is made of 90% recycled magnesium, making it attractive, lightweight, and long-lasting.

The Dell Pro 13/14/16 Plus is a scalable corporate laptop that meets a variety of worker requirements. It comes in a variety of configurations, form factors, and display sizes, all running the same BIOS. The laptop has a minimalist design in platinum silver and is built of 50% recycled, low-emission aluminium.

It has USB, HDMI, Thunderbolt, 5G, and Wi-Fi 7 ports, ensuring reliable connectivity. The laptop is designed to endure rigorous MIL-STD testing, ensuring the reliability of your fleet. Its elegant design and 16:10 aspect ratio display maximise efficiency.

Dell Pro 14/16 laptops are the entry-level model in the Dell Pro line, providing adequate performance for everyday productivity. Available in 14- and 16-inch sizes, they include a 16:10 aspect ratio and a low-power display, providing long battery life.

Dell Pro desktops, available in micro, slim, and tower form factors, include Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen CPU options, making them Dell’s first commercial desktops with NPUs, which provide AI-optimized performance and energy efficiency.

Dell Pro Max

The Dell Pro Max line includes high-performance PCs for demanding applications. The portfolio offers processor alternatives such as Intel Core (Series 2, U SKUs), AMD Ryzen, and AMD Threadripper, as well as professional graphics. These devices can power intense workloads, perform AI inferencing, and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) all while retaining security and cost control.

Dell Pro Max PCs provide high-performance in a portable, lightweight, and modern style. With up to QHD+ resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and an optional touch screen, the 16-inch device can run complex and high-performance apps while on the go. These PCs, which support up to NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation Laptop GPUs, deliver the performance required for AI inference, rendering, and creative applications, making them perfect for designers, engineers, and architects.

Dell Pro Max Desktops are scalable PCs intended for industrial applications such as architecture, design, and AI workloads. They come in micro, slim, and tower form factors, with NVIDIA RTX professional graphics and AMD graphics options.

Dell’s scalable PCs include Intel Core Ultra CPUs for up to 39% longer battery life and a sleeker design. They also offer on-device AI for efficiency. The Dell 14 Plus and Dell 14 Plus 2-in-1 are portable computers that provide versatility for consumers who combine creative and practical needs. The Dell 16 Plus and Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 have larger screens for better consumption, enabling both traditional and creative operations.
