Demi Moore scored her first ever major award at the Golden Globes, but while fan Kylie Jenner tried to reach out to congratulate her, the actress awkwardly ignored the reality icon
Demi Moore appeared to ignore superfan Kylie Jenner after winning at the Golden Globes.
Acting icon Demi, 62, won big at the exclusive Hollywood event on Sunday (January 5), which was hosted by controversial host Nikki Glaser. Demi was one of the many celebs to grace the red carpet of the show, with Demi among the best dressed of the night.
During the ceremony, Demi managed to score her first major award ever for the her performance in The Substance, a satirical horror commenting on unrealistic beauty standards. The film conquered at the box office, while critics have been raving over the hidden messages of the film.
One person who was particularly thrilled for Demi on her big award win was Kylie Jenner, who was seen mingling among the stars together with her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. The pair were seen sitting alongside some of the Wonka lead's co-star actors as they got stuck into the first major awards ceremony of the year.
Reality icon Kylie was seen chatting with the likes of Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro as they knocked back rinks at the lavish event, but things soon got awkward when Kylie ran into legendary actor Demi. A clip from behind the scenes of the ceremony found that Demi had blanked Kylie whilst chatting to those around her - including Elle.
In the video, which surfaced on social media, Demi is seen speaking to Elle close to where Kylie had been sat, with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star trying to get in on the conversation. As Kylie tries to muscle in on what the pair are chatting about, Demi appeared to ignore her altogether.
Kylie, seemingly unable to get into the chat, eventually turns around in her chair to shout "congrats" to Demi for winning the award. Demi did eventually acknowledge Kylie's presence, thanking her for the congratulations, before turning back to speak to Elle; before later turning to Kylie's partner Timothée.
The clip soon went viral, with fans taking to social media to share their thoughts on the beef between the pair. "I feel so bad for Kylie everyone there seems like they have zero interest in having a conversation with her lol," penned one user.
A second joked: "Kylie getting ignored makes me want to watch the Golden Globes!" Whilst a third added: "The way she completely ignored Kylie - if it were anyone else, it would be cringe."
Kylie is a big fan of Demi's work after she paid tribute to the star's iconic character from slasher film Scream from 1996 as part of her Halloween costume. As part of the tribute, Kylie got all dolled up in Demi's character, even donning a sparkly black bikini to honour the actress further.
