While most gamers have tried out Blizzard's action RPG through Xbox Game Pass, the developer has been known to conduct free trial weekends for the game before. This time, Blizzard will let you play Diablo IV and try out its Spiritborn class for free for an entire week.
You can download Diablo IV's base game and access its animalistic Spiritborn class. Blizzard presumably wants to lure players away from Path of Exile 2, another stellar action RPG. The question is, can you finish the game before its free trial ends? It's possible.
Diablo IV's base campaign can last anywhere between 20-26 hours. If you can manage to play the game for three hours a day, you can very well finish the game without paying a penny. Of course, you might have to rush through all the acts, but you probably won't have any difficulty doing so with the Spiritborn class.
The Spiritborn was added to the game following the release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion. It's a powerful class harnessing the power of ancient Spirit Guardians, and warriors of the class can wield two weapons, focusing on fast melee action.
Diablo IV and its DLC/expansions are also discounted on the Battle.net store for PC, so you can continue your adventure for a cheaper price after you've tried the game.
It's also the perfect way to experience Diablo IV's Season of Witchcraft, which introduces new powers and abilities granted by the occult. There's plenty of new content coming to the base game and Vessel of Hatred in the new season too.
Diablo IV is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It is also available in Xbox Game Pass for PC and console.
