A diagnosed sociopath has talked about what her experience of being in a relationship is like.
Sociopathy is a subject that attracts a great deal of curiosity and interest, and the official diagnosis is something called anti-social personality disorder (ASPD), which the NHS says means a person will 'typically be manipulative, deceitful and reckless, and will not care for other people's feelings'.
You can't get a diagnosis until you're 18 or older, and a man who was diagnosed with ASPD said the biggest misconception people had was that a sociopath was 'incredibly violent and just malicious just to be mean'.
Someone else who has been diagnosed with ASPD is TikToker Kanika Batra-Matheson, who has made a number of videos explaining things from her perspective.

In a recent video she laid out the things she used to do to 'keep myself concealed in relationships'.
She said that what made her very successful was 'not being afraid to lose someone at any point, saying that she would 'always make people come to my side of the road'.
She explained: "At first, however, if I find someone attractive I can become any person that they want, girls or guys but mostly girls.
"I feel like I don't get enough credit for sitting there listening to people's problems, it has literally nothing to do with me and I am investing in it and nobody seems to be giving me the gratitude for that."
The TikToker said that 'charisma is pretty easy to come by when you don't have a moral compass', adding that she can 'just say what people wanna hear'.
In a previous video she said that to her 'all relationships are transactional' and if she's going on a date she tends to 'view the other person as an object', and once they start to 'humanise themselves' she would get bored and 'discard them'.
Back then she said she had been 'working through these toxic thought patterns' with a psychiatrist after being diagnosed with anti-social personality disorder.
She said that she dated men and women 'very differently', explaining that she was very particular about who she dated and it was all about looks.
"In the early stages of dating a man if there's no stimulating conversation he will be ghosted, or blocked and deleted. Games and negging don't work on me, I like a man to pursue me properly," the TikToker had previously said.
"I'm a lot kinder and softer when it comes to women because I feel I can relate to them a lot more. I treat women with a lot of respect because I know what they've been through."
