Swifties believe Taylor Swift and the iconic Dolly Parton could be set to collaborate with each other in the near future after detecting a bunch of clues connecting the 35-year-old and the 78-year-old Jolene singer.
Parton has been dominant in the country music scene for the past five decades, which is where Swift began her career in the mid-2000s, so a union between the pair wouldn't be too far out of left field.
And a recent social media hint has the billion popstar's fans thinking that the bombshell partnership could be on the horizon after Dolly followed her on Instagram, which has them thinking she could be set to play a role in the re-release of the debut Taylor Swift album.

One user wrote to X.com, formerly Twitter, ""I'll never shut up if Queen Dolly is on Debut TV."
A second added, "Dolly Parton recently started following Taylor Swift on Instagram. Could this be a sign of a potential collaboration?"
Whilst a third commented, "IF DOLLY IS ON DEBUT TV IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERSON I'LL BECOME."
Why could Swift and Parton collaborate?
Swift has been re-recording her albums following a dispute with Big Machine Records in 2019 after she tried to buy her masters (original recordings) but received unfavorable conditions. They were sold to Scooter Braun, who Swift called an "incessant, manipulative bully."
The relationship between the label and popstar then continued to breakdown and joined Republic Records as Swift received widespread report from figures within the industry such as artists and journalists, and reached new levels of success by shattering records.
Alongside Taylor Swift, she only has Reputation left to re-release. Fans theorize that this is intentional and is a message that after rebuilding her legacy, all she has left to take back from Big Machine Records are her name and her reputation.
Parton, meanwhile, is no stranger to helping the younger generation in their careers after serving as a guide and mentor to Miley Cyrus, her goddaughter.
