The Miami Dolphins are coming off a bye week, and despite the rest — many players are still banged up. The team announced the inactive for Sunday's showdown with the Indianapolis Colts.

Two names that the team is surely going to miss are safety Jevon Holland and edge rusher Emmanuel Ogbah.
Holland has been dealing with a broken hand he suffered in Week 5. Despite attempting to show up in Week 7, that is not going to happen.
Ogbah has been dealing with a bicep injury and has been limited in practice all week. Instead of pushing through the injury, the dynamic linebacker will sit.
Ogbah has had plenty of experience with the Dolphins, as he spent the last four and a half seasons with the team. Despite playing well in 2023, the team released him in Feb. 2024. However, injuries to Jaelen Phillips and Bradley Chubb last season led to the Dolphins giving Oghab another try.
Through five games, Ogbah has secured 12 total tackles, two sacks, and one interception. He has begun to show he can still be an elite talent, but the team will now be without the linebacker for Week 7.
Pro bowl safety Jevon Holland is considered to be one of the best safeties in the league, often popping up on top 10 lists for his respective position. However, a broken hand has hindered the young secondary player, which he was attempting to return from.
Holland was shown at practice this week with a heavily taped left hand. He also participated in drills and catching the ball. Despite the progress, the Dolphins have decided to sit Holland to allow him to fully heal.
Sitting Holland is the smarter decision right now considering there is plenty more season left to go. The Dolphins are 2-3 on the season, and a win today could get them back to a .500 record. Doing so without Holland and Ogbah will be increasingly difficult, but the team has been showing plenty of grit this season.
The better news is the Dolphins are also set to get back Tua Tagovailoa next week, as reports have been coming in that the franchise quarterback will be working his way back to practice starting Monday. He will also presumably be ready to suit up in Week 8 when the Dolphins take on the Arizona Cardinals.
Though the Dolphins appear to be banged up, they are going to be getting healthy just in time for Tagovailoa's return.
