Drake got nothing but love for Sexyy Red.
During his Drizzmas Giveaway Kick stream with Adin Ross, the Toronto rapper made sure to give his friend her flowers.
"She is me!" Drake said about the "Pound Town" rapper. "She'll be like, 'Man, I'm always with you, man. I just be thinking about you, man.'... Shoutout to Sexyy!"
Interestingly, he also appeared to reference one of Kendrick Lamar's diss tracks toward him, "Euphoria," while he was praising Sexyy.
"When I see her, I see two bad ones, n***a, what's up?" Drake said with a laugh. "Fuck what y'all talking 'bout... Shoutout Sexyy. W Sexyy in the chat."
The Kendrick lyric in question that Drake is seemingly nodding to is: "When I see you stand by Sexyy Red, I believe you see two bad bitches/I believe you don't like women, it's real competition, you might pop ass with 'em."
The comments come after Ross praised Drake for giving "assists" to people, presumably referring to what has become known as the "Drake stimulus package." While it mostly applies to Drizzy hopping on others' songs or signing them, it has certainly worked for other things, like the time he wore a "Free Yayo" shirt over the summer. According to Tony Yayo, it landed him a Spencer's deal.
"Once Drake wore the shirt, I got the call the next day. ‘Spencer’s wants to do a deal with you,’" Yayo said in an interview with VladTV.
The stimmy also seems to have worked for Sexyy, although it's worth noting she enjoyed massive success before linking with Drake. In 2023, the St. Louis rapper became a household name after landing a viral hit with the raunchy "Pound Town." She would eventually go on to support Drake on his "It's All a Blur" tour with 21 Savage after appearing as a special guest.
The pair's friendship has continued to blossom, with Drake even featuring footage of the birth of Sexyy's second child as the focus of his "Rich Baby Daddy" video, which also features TDE artist SZA.
While it seems that the fiery feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has died down, the discourse surely hasn't. Common recently called the 2024-defining beef "a victory for hip-hop."
And if you want proof Drake mighttttttt want to call it water under the bridge, just take a look at this clip of him from the aforementioned "Drizzmas" Kick stream reading a letter from a fan and catching himself before he fully reads out the phrase "F*ck Kendrick."
Baby steps.
