A legendary Brit drummer has had a medical emergency just before his gig.
The Stereophonics and 86TVs star Jamie Morrison was set to rock out at Nottingham's Rescue Rooms when he had to be whisked away to hospital.
86TVs broke the news to their followers, explaining: "We had quite a dramatic day yesterday when, minutes before doors opened in Nottingham, Jamie was rushed into hospital. He is still in there and has been strongly advised by doctors to not attempt to do the shows this week."

"We are all heartbroken about this – the shows on this run really have been our best ever – but obviously health comes first. Please send your love and get wells to one of the best to ever do it."
They continued with an apology to their fans: "Huge apologies to anyone who has made plans for these shows, especially with long distance travel. We know there are a number of you that have had plans around this for a long time and were planning on sending off this record with us this week," reports the Mirror.
The band were coming to the end of their 2024 tour and were still expecting to play in Manchester, Bristol, London, Cambridge and Leeds to round off their run before calling it a day on 1 December.
Jamie's loyal fans quickly wished him well as they flocked to share their messages of support to The Stereophonics member. Many simply wrote "get well soon" while one fan typed: "Oh no. Sending best wishes to Jamie for a speedy recovery and love to you all."
"Oh my gosh! Terrible news - hope you get well soon," urged another Morrison fan. A third person typed: "Get well soon Jamie health comes first!"
Jamie has enjoyed a glittering music career and played alongside iconic artists throughout his time, including Noisettes and Drewford Alabama as well as Stereophonics and 86TV. As well as his collaborative work, the drummer has released music via his own label Ninjas & Wolves, under the name Pop Morrison.
After leaving the Noisettes, the drummer joined Stereophonics back in 2012 and later joined 86TV in 2022. Stereophonics are a Welsh rock band made up of vocalist Kelly Jones, guitarists Richard Jones and Adam Zindani, drummer Jamie Morrison and touring member Tony Kirkham on keyboard.
