Dunelm's 'thick' £7 socks that are 'perfect' for beating winter chills

Dunelm shoppers can beat the dreaded winter cold feet with a simple option that won't break the bank. A pair of "thick and chunky" socks could make all the difference.

The Teddy Slipper Socks are available in four colours (taupe, lilac, charcoal, and black) and cost £7 a pair. They're described online as being made of a "sumptuous teddy fabric" that prioritises comfort.

Reports suggest that the weather is making a dramatic cold turn, with bitter temperatures dropping and bringing warnings of snow. Some parts of the country could see up to 18 inches of snowfall.

Shoppers have vouched for the socks as a game changer when it comes to warming their feet on cold winter days and nights. One said: "Really comfy, snuggly slipper socks and great value."

Another added: "So cosy! Love these so much I bought two pairs!" A third said: "I’m wearing mine in bed as my feet are like ice. Very comfortable and warm which helps me to sleep."
