Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, known for his blockbuster roles and iconic wrestling career, stirred up laughs recently with a lighthearted remark about joining OnlyFans.
During his appearance on a Veterans Day edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Hollywood star entertained a studio audience filled with servicemen and women as he reflected on his career highlights and his new honor as one of GQ magazine's Men of the Year.
Is The Rock ready for OnlyFans debut?
Fallon congratulated Johnson on his latest accolade, as well as on past achievements like his title as People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2016.
With a chuckle, Fallon posed the question: what more could the 52-year-old actor want to accomplish? Johnson replied, "OnlyFans, clearly," prompting a burst of laughter from the audience and Fallon alike.
Although he delivered the comment with a grin, Johnson's quip seemed more tongue-in-cheek than a serious career announcement.
The OnlyFans comment comes amid a busy period for Johnson, who also took the opportunity to address rumors about his professional conduct on set.
Red One film rumors were false, claims The Rock
Speaking to GQ, Johnson responded to earlier reports from The Wrap that accused him of frequent tardiness on the set of his upcoming holiday film Red One.
The article suggested Johnson's delays had cost the production millions-a claim he swiftly dismissed.
"Yeah, that happens," Johnson acknowledged, but he was quick to call out the financial estimate as "bananas" and "ridiculous."
Johnson's co-stars and collaborators have come to his defense, countering the rumors.
Red One director Jake Kasdan praised Johnson, saying the star "never missed a day of work" and has consistently brought positive energy to set, while co-star Chris Evans described Johnson as reliably professional.
"We all know exactly what he's going to do when he's going to do it," Evans said, emphasizing that any schedule adjustments were pre-planned.
In Red One, Johnson stars as Santa Claus's bodyguard, Callum Drift, opposite Evans as a bounty hunter.
With a cast including Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Liu, and J.K. Simmons, the holiday film is anticipated to be one of this year's seasonal highlights.
