Rebekah Vardy has been accused of bullying by a showbiz reporter, who has spoken out about an exchange with Rebekah and revealed the fee she is being paid to comment about her Wagatha Christie rival, Coleen Rooney, while she is starring in the ITV show set in the Australian jungle.
MailOnline's Katie Hind, who has been reporting on the showbiz world for the past 20 years, has slammed Rebekah and said that she herself was once at the receiving end of one her infamous tirades, soon after losing the Wagatha trial to Coleen. Katie has also made a claim about the amount of money Rebekah is getting paid for her new I'm A Celebrity column in a red top newspaper, reports the Mirror.
With Coleen currently starring in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, it has proven to be an opportunity for her old rival to share her thoughts. This has prompted Katie to share some moments when she felt as though Rebekah had bullied her and said that she is "determined to insult anyone in her path".
Taking aim at the wife of the football player Jamie Vardy, Katie revealed the fee that Rebekah is being paid for her thoughts about this year's series of I'm A Celeb. Katie wrote for MailOnline : "I’m told that her newspaper deal is in the region of £30,000, but it’s peanuts compared to the £1.6 million she has to pay Coleen’s lawyers, having lost the Wagatha Christie case."
Katie then went on to detail a "grubby tirade" aimed at her by Rebekah on social media after she reported on the friendship between Rebekah andLauryn Goodman, who has two children with Manchester City star Kyle Walker .
Katie wrote that she revealed that Kyle was the dad. Tagging Katie in the post, Rebekah wrote on her Instagram Story: "Stick to s***ing off executives in an attempt to step up on the career ladder. Clearly you were not good at that either." Katie has hit back saying that this is "a slur often used to undermine successful women."
Katie replied and said that Rebekah had posted a "vile message", in which she told her followers: "Oh Katie Hind you really picked the wrong person today. I’m sick of your needy clickbait, nonsensical attempt at journalism and pure lies." Katie writes in reply: "Not true, I stand by every word.."
Rebekah Vardy's representatives have been contacted for comment.
Rebekah has faced a tempestuous time since Coleen arrived in the jungle and after posting on Instagram, she was soon being trolled by other posters on the platform. After one touched a nerve, before deleting their comment, Rebekah proudly left her response to them viewable, raging, “Oh give me strength! I am so bored now! Just p*ss off will you.”
