Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown was caught reading a book on the sidelines of the Wild Card matchup against the Green Bay Packers. This wholly mundane moment went instantly viral, leading many to believe that Brown was simply "bored" with the game, and was more concerned with reading.

The entire situation became an instant hit, leading to local Philadelphia anchors mimicking the moment. Brown himself also commented on the situation, stating that everyone was making something out of nothing.
"This game is 90% mental and 10% physical for me. I bring it to every game and I read it between each drive. I use it to refocus and lock in despite what may transpire in the game good or bad. People tend to create controversy when they don't know the truth," Brown said in a post.
Despite Brown saying what most people are likely thinking, there is one thing he might not have been prepared for. The book he was reading has become an overnight best-seller.
NFL insider Field Yates posted about the book, which was shared by Adam Schefter.
The book Brown was reading on the sidelines is called "Inner Excellence," and was written by author Jim Murphy. Since the video has gone viral, Murphy's book jumped from a staggering 523,497th place on Amazon to No. 1 on the best-selling list.
Brown might have brought the book to stay focused on the sideline, but he has now caused one of his favorite reads to skyrocket to the top of the best-selling list on Amazon. Though this is just speculation, there could be a situation where Brown and Murphy meet to discuss the potential life-changing phenomenon.
Either way, this is one NFL Playoff moment that the world might never forget. Brown simply reading while the offense was out on the field has now become one of the biggest moments in football history.
Brown might lean into the moment, but for now, he has expressed to everyone that he was simply reading. He may have wanted the time-passing moment to go unnoticed, but it has now led to a super viral occurrence.
The Eagles handily beat the Packers on Sunday night, and now they are set to face off against the winner of the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams. It will be interesting to see if Brown brings along another book in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
