The Philadelphia Eagles were able to punch their ticket to the NFC Championship to face the Washington Commanders, as they took down the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 28-22. Despite the big win, the Eagles suffered two major injuries.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts and cornerback Quinyon Mitchell both suffered injuries and could potentially be in danger of missing the NFC Championship.

Hurts was rolled on in the third quarter and was seen limping. He exited the game to be checked out, but would eventually return. Mitchell, on the other hand, suffered a shoulder injury during a tackle and did not return.
Now, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has offered an update on both the ailing stars.

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) January 22, 2025Sirianni revealed to reporters, which was shared by Ian Rapoport that both Hurts and Mitchell would be part of the team's walk-through. Though this isn't a guarantee that both play on Sunday, being involved in any sort of practice is good news.
The report also indicates that Hurst is dealing with a knee injury, and Mitchell has the known shoulder ailment.
Both stars will have a chance to make it through a week of practice, but if they do not get true practice time this week, they might have to be ruled out in an important matchup that would send them to the Super Bowl.
Mitchell appeared to be the far more injured player in this case, but his being part of the walk-through is a good sign.
The Eagles won the game, but they dealt with plenty of adversity, as the Rams' defense was all over the team. Hurts took five sacks, which led to his suffering an injury.
Despite the Rams' defense coming out strong, and even securing a safety — the Eagles were victorious. The win was a team effort all around for Philadelphia, and they will need to engage in the same effort when they face the Commanders.
The Commanders have gotten hot right when it counts. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels is playing some good football, and Washington's defense has also been showing up.
Washington forced three interceptions and sacked Jared Goff twice in their shocking upset of the Detroit Lions. Now, they might be facing a team potentially without Hurts.
If Hurts can't make the walk, the Eagles will rely on Kenny Pickett to lead the team to the Super Bowl.
