Athletes, rappers, and celebrities flooded the podcasting space over the last several years and now they are branching off into streaming. Kai Cenat recently offered his services to Boosie Badazz, and the Baton Rouge, La. rapper happily accepted.
The “Wipe Me Down” rapper started his own Twitch channel and asked the popular streamer for guidance and some subscribers. Cenat took it a step further and said he wanted to help him not only get his stream together but master a few games in particular. “We gon make this ni**a a Fortniter!” Kai exclaimed in a recent stream, referring to the popular battle royale game. “He gon’ turn into a real a** gamer. Then we gon’ make unc play Elden Ring. Then we gon’ beat Minecraft.”
Boosie admitted he doesn’t know how to play Fortnite at all, but he is willing to learn as he is confident in his ability to pick up anything. “He finna make me a Fortniter? Aight I’m finna go practice,” the 42-year-old rapper said in a video. “Y’all gotta show me how to Fortnite. I could do anything. Tell that ni**a let’s play Mortal Kombat! Yeah, Street Fighter! I’m f**king with Kai Cenat, man. Tell him I’m coming! I’m like that with anything!” Watch their back-and-forth below.
Boosie Badazz couldn’t have picked a better mentor for his venture into streaming. Kai Cenat recently broke the subscriber record on Twitch during his month-long, nonstop stream called Mafiathon 2. Quavo, SZA, Lizzo, Snoop Dogg, DDG, GloRilla, Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, and more celebrities joined him throughout the 30-day initiative.
His achievement was especially noteworthy because he broke his previous subscriber record of 306,000. A streamer named Ironmouse eventually outpaced him with 326,652 subscribers so Kai got in his bag and decided to do Mafiathon 2.
Within just 3 days, he was already close to beating Ironmouse. It wasn’t easy either, as there were swatting attempts at his home and he was banned for a short period. Check out a recap of Mafiathon 2 below.
