Danny Dyer has been given a shock new look for his latest role.
The EastEnders legend netted a big-money deal to star in a new advert for bookies Paddy Power. It’s all about footie fans sticking with the same team for life, so producers on the promotion decided to turn Danny into a pensioner for it.
To pull it off he had to spend three-and-a-half hours getting prosthetics put on his face. It’s the most shocking look he’s ever had in his years in the spotlight.

Danny loved getting the makeover for the ad, which will be released on Monday.
He said: “I’m already a grandad to three cracking kids, but after three-and-a-half hours sat in that make-up chair from the crack of dawn, I actually looked like one.
“It’s probably the easiest money I’ve ever made to be fair… sat with my trotters up, having a brew and a natter. Happy days.
“I could hear loads of people on set wondering who this old bloke was wandering around the gaff. I think they thought I owned the place. Some nice fella on the set even offered to help me up the stairs!”
Danny admits his new look terrified his loved ones.
He said: “It did scare the life out of the grandkids when I FaceTimed them after though. They were proper freaking out. They didn’t have a clue who this random old guy was on the screen. Poor things.”
Danny looked so different that he struggled to use the face ID function on his smartphone.
He said: “Getting into the bloody phone itself was a nightmare, with the face recognition thing not sussing I had aged about 30 years since I last used it! What a mug.”
