Ella Emhoff’s unique style never goes unnoticed, and it was no different during her attendance at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards. The stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris opted for an eye-catching outfit that was adorned with a huge bow. The star-studded event, which was attended by A-listers such as Kylie Jenner and Blake Lively, was held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Ella Emhoff sported a Coach ensemble at this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards. The style was showcased in the brand’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The 25-year-old wore a fuzzy gray camisole top with a voluminous plaid maxi skirt. The front of the skirt featured a giant fur bow, made out of the same gray fuzzy material as the top. Emhoff completed the look with a pair of black leather boots.

The aspiring fashion designer also didn’t shy away from embracing the spooky season aesthetics. Another noticeable part of Emhoff’s ensemble was the dangly spider earring she wore in one ear. Furthermore, the artist continued to accessorize the look with a chain-strap shoulder bag. The black piece was adorned with charms, including a blue bow and a black-golden dice.

Meanwhile, Emhoff’s short hair was pulled back in a sleek bun. Besides that, she also wore her signature glasses. According to InStyle, Coach explained that the fuzzy top was curated in collaboration with a New York artisan. Meanwhile, the plaid skirt was made out of deadstock fabric. Emhoff is a knitter herself as she runs the Soft Hands Knit Club, which was started in 2023. Recently, the designer announced Soft Crafts has gone online and is “better than ever.” This is where Emhoff will be “posting video tutorials some patterns and just general crafty things.”

This is not the first time Emhoff joined hands with Coach. Last month, she walked the runway during the brand’s ready-to-wear spring/summer 2025 fashion show as part of New York Fashion Week.
