Emily Atack has shared a warning for viewers as the new show where she appears fully nude has dropped.

Yep, posh people arguing, naked games of tennis and David Tennant playing an 80s TV station controller is here in the form of Rivals. The absolutely raunchy new series debuted on Disney+ yesterday (18 October) with a massive Rotten Tomatoes score and some whopper… names.

As well as The Inbetweeners and Dr Who stars, the novel-based show also features Danny Dyer, Katherine Parkinson, Alex Hassell, Claire Rushbrook and Aidan Turner. Oh, and there’s a whole load of nudity too.

With Atack’s first appearance in Rivals having her stark-naked playing tennis, she’s already spoken about how the nudity and sex scenes are ‘a huge part’ of the show as she admitted to liking ‘a big entrance’.

And yesterday she took to Instagram to celebrate the wait being over.

“Here are some BTS bits that I’ve been dying to share with you all. I hope you love this series as much as we loved making it,” the 34-year-old wrote on Instagram.

But as her performance is being widely (and deservedly praised), she did add a bit of a warning. “Grab your bottle of wine this evening,” she wrote, “cover your dad’s eyes, and ENJOY THE RIDE!”

Atack shared a whole carousel of behind-the-scenes snaps from filming, including her various 80s costumes, sitting in a robe during that tennis scene and standing next to the swimming pool with her budgie smuggler-clad cast mates.

Fans commented to say: “This looks like the most fun TV show to be involved in! Can’t wait to watch it”

And others called her ‘perfect as Sarah Stratton’ (her character) the wife of the Prime Minister’s deputy (played by Rufus Jones), who uses her status to get a TV presenter spot.

Rivals is getting absolutely rave reviews and Atack previously opened up to Digital Spy about the raunchiness.

She said: “We keep saying that the nudity and the sex scenes are a huge part of this, but there's always a reason for them. We're not just getting our kit off for no reason. They're very integral to the storylines and characters."

The star also went on to discuss the support on set: “We had intimacy coordinators, which is something that actually, I've never experienced before, which was really great to see how far we've come in that sense.

"I couldn't have felt more comfortable and looked after, and it was fun, great fun. It was summer, nice and warm. I had a great spray tan – off to the races."

Rivals is available to stream now on Disney+.
