Are Erin & Abe Lichy Still Together?
Erin confirmed that she and Abe are still going strong in an interview with People where she revealed her pregnancy for the first time.
“I was out East with Abe and some friends when I suddenly became super sensitive to smells around me,” she said of finding out she was pregnant while on a trip to the Hampton with Abe. “That’s when I knew — I thought, ‘Damn. Here we go again!'”
“It feels like adding another act to the circus!” she joked. “Work and life have been so busy that I haven’t really had a chance to even think about how it’ll change things, but I think it will be pretty seamless to be honest. Three vs. four kids doesn’t seem so scary.”
Erin and Abe have also been going strong in touching Instagram posts in recent months, including an Oct. 25 post the real estate mogul shared of she and her husband at a New York City ballet event. “At one point, while watching the ballet dancers move beautifully to Frank Sinatra, we were just two kids trying to keep it together, missing their larger than life dads who always did it their way 💔💔💔💔💔 Love you @abe.lichy,” she wrote.

Back on Oct. 1, Erin revealed her father, who also appears in RHONY, passed away.
Erin and Abe’s marital issues were made public in the season 15 premiere of RHONY when Abe alluded to “underlying” issues in their marriage that Erin was not ready to talk about yet. “Not going there,” she said in her confessional. “I don’t know that I’m ready to, like, talk about all this stuff between Abe and I.”
In the second episode, Erin revealed that she learned Abe had sold off a large portion of their Bitcoin without their knowledge. “There were some decisions that Abe made without discussing it with me,” Erin said in her confessional. “But the problem was that the truth came out right in the middle of me dealing with my [sick] mom and everything that we’re going through, so I wasn’t able to lean on him because he betrayed me, and I was furious with him, and it just added so much more stress.”
On an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Erin said that the Bitcoin incident was just one of several money-related secrets Abe kept from her.
“There were other things that Abe had just made decisions [on], and we’re partners and we have to talk about things. And I think that’s what really got to me,” Erin clarified. “I mean, he was trying to do the right thing and not stress me out — he knew that I was going through a lot, but, ultimately, I’d rather have the communication.”
Abe elaborated more on their issues during an episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, saying the Bitcoin disagreement wasn’t the couple’s only issue. “It was representative of a larger, deeper issue,” Abe said. “I’ll tell you guys what it was because it’s not that nefarious. But, it was real.”
Abe said that the couple faced financial issues when their accessories brand went bust.
“We had our second child, and my father was sick for three years with brain cancer and had just passed away,” Abe explained. “We had no cash, and so we had all the debt from this business, and it was our business, not hers. I want to clear that up, because it’s not like I’m paying for her business, it was our business. And, so, it was just the aftermath of that.”
According to Abe, the couple had to start over “from scratch” after the financial disaster.
“I started my own law firm, but it took several years to start making real money again, so we had more kids, more bills, and still the debt,” Abe said. “And it was just a bunch of small things that, at a certain point, I just stopped telling her about it because I didn’t want to add pressure to her.”
“I didn’t want to take it from our joint checking account, so I took it from the Bitcoin,” he continued. “And I sent it and paid for the debt, and we ended up talking about it because she found out about the Bitcoin, and I then told her about all the other stuff.”
