Everywhere Danielle Reyes Has Gone Wrong as a Traitor on The Traitors Season 3

The Traitors Season 3 has been a captivating watch. This season has an entertaining cast with tons of crazy twists and turns. At the start of the season, Alan Cumming tapped three lucky players on the shoulder to become the Traitors. Among these was Danielle Reyes, a well-known Big Brother player. At the start of the season, it seemed like Danielle would make a great Traitor.

Unfortunately for Danielle, she has made numerous mistakes in the role. It’s only a matter of time before Danielle is uncovered by her fellow players. As a result, it seems unlikely that Danielle will be able to make it to the end and win. Here’s everywhere Danielle has gone wrong as a Traitor and how her bad moves have significantly hurt her game.

Danielle Reyes made it obvious at the start of the game that she was a Traitor

The key to being a good Traitor is being able to act. Danielle tried to act too hard and made it obvious that she was a Traitor from the jump. Danielle’s first bad move was during the first mission. She volunteered herself to get off the boat, which meant that she was fine with giving up a shield for the murder that night. Anyone who got off the boat raised suspicion so this was a bad move on Danielle’s part.

Danielle’s next mistake was her over-the-top acting. After each of the initial murders, Danielle made a point to noticeably cry at breakfast. This was alongside Bob The Drag Queen, who was also trying to hide his Traitor status behind his tears. Fellow Traitor Carolyn Wiger even pointed out in a confessional that Danielle was doing too much with the tears. From a viewer’s perspective, this made it quite obvious that Danielle was a Traitor. This probably raised suspicion for some of the other Faithfuls as well.

Danielle acted suspiciously during the riddle mission

In Episode 5, Alan invited the players for a clever mission. The players had to correctly solve riddles, and step forward to answer before anyone else could. After giving their answer, the contestant smashed an urn. If gold dust came out, they were correct and got to choose a player to give a shield to. There were only two slots for shields, however, so the majority of players had to take away someone else’s shield to give theirs.

Logically, most players wanted to give themselves the shield. As the amount of players goes down, you never know when you might be at risk of getting murdered. This is also what Danielle should’ve done after answering her riddles to avoid suspicion. However, she instead made a huge mistake.

After answering her first riddle, Danielle chose to give a shield to Dolores Catania. She claimed that she was tired of watching the Real Housewives get murdered. This was a huge red flag, as it showed that Danielle herself was not worried about being murdered. Of course, the only reason behind this would be being a Traitor. Danielle then solved a second riddle and decided to give a shield to her fellow Big Brother player Derrick Levasseur. If giving up a shield once didn’t raise suspicion that Danielle was a Traitor, doing it twice certainly did.

Danielle made a huge mistake targeting Carolyn Wiger

One thing about Season 3 is that the Traitors are out for each other’s necks and aren’t trying to be lowkey about it. Rob Mariano aka Boston Rob sabotaged Bob The Drag Queen at the Round Table, which resulted in his banishment. Now Danielle is throwing Carolyn’s name around, in hopes that someone else will take the lead on banishing her. At the end of Episode 5, Carolyn found out about what Danielle was doing and was understandably pretty frustrated.

Danielle made a big mistake here, as she should’ve known things would get back to Carolyn. At the moment, Danielle has two Survivor alums as fellow Traitors, which puts her in the minority. While Carolyn isn’t the biggest fan of Rob, she would likely choose to work with him over Danielle. The two of them could easily get Danielle banished and at the end of the day, only Danielle would be to blame.
