Fair City star Maclean Burke has been hospitalised and will miss out on performing at the next few panto shows.
Maclean is starring in the 3Olympia theatre's annual panto as Polly, but after last night's performance he collapsed and was taken to hospital.
Doctors then diagnosed the actor with a rare condition called rhabdomyolysis, which he is now getting treatment for.

Rhabdomyolysis is a rare muscle injury where muscles break down. It can be a life-threatening condition and usually happens after an injury or excessive exercise without rest, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Common signs and symptoms of rhabdomyolysis are weak muscles, muscle stiffness, and muscle pain.
Thankfully, Maclean is now getting treatment in hospital and is doing well, but he will unfortunately have to miss out on the next few panto performances while he rests and recovers.
Maclean previously opened up to RSVP about his busy Christmas schedule, saying: "Christmas is mental because we are only off on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day."
He said he and his fiancée Cat like to spend quality time with the kids during the holidays. "We all get into our pyjamas on Christmas Eve and sit back and watch a movie that you have probably seen 20 times before.
"It is lovely having everyone around the dinner table for just one day and creating that vibe. It is important to take that time out to be with each other because these days everyone is always on the go."
As well as playing a panto dame, Maclean is known for his Fair City character Damien Halpin, who has been going through a tough time on the soap as of late after also being rushed to hospital.
