Some fans are fuming with Leonardo DiCaprio after he seemingly ignored a traditional musical gesture recently.
Last week, the Wolf of Wall Street star was spotted leaving a hotel in Nadi, Fiji where he was sent off with a larger than life farewell from the staff… But clearly one he wasn’t too interested in receiving!

In a TikTok shared by FijiVillage on the app, Leo is seen walking in the lobby in a black tracksuit, hat, and sunglasses alongside girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti. And a bunch of staff members are grouped together singing Isa Lei — a regional song traditionally sung to send off guests. But the Titanic star just walks right past them without so much as batting an eye! Watch (below):

In the comments, fans were quick to come down on him for the “disrespectful” move:
“Don’t waste your energy my fiji whānau, he’s so disrespectful omg”
“And he totally ignored the welcoming effort”
“ohhh what a snob. At least he should have acknowledged the welcome by our country. No place like fiji.”
“Being humble is the key to success”
Oof. However, other fans defended Leo:
“He didn’t ask for a choir. He wants to be left alone like any of us. Ain’t no one singing us a choir leaving or arriving at a hotel”
“Maybe it’s his first Time in Fiji…Just let him be.”
Hmm. Well, the folks giving him the benefit of the doubt may have a point!
A source has since told Page Six Leo didn’t intentionally mean to snub the hotel staff, who were reportedly singing for ALL hotel guests. And while sure, maybe he could have at least given a wave, anyone who knows anything about the guy will know he does NOT like special attention — that’s why he’s always in incognito mode with that hat and sunglasses! LOLz! Sounds like he didn’t realize this was just the regular Fijian five-star treatment — and if he’d known he wouldn’t have tried to avoid it?
