The trailer for Jurassic World: Rebirth debuted a first look at the franchise's newest dinosaur villain, which has left film fans in fear of the creature that looks "straight out of a nightmare"
Film fans are horrified by Jurassic World: Rebirth's "creepy" new dinosaur.
The new trailer for the Hollywood blockbuster has just dropped and fans can't get over the design for the film's new villain dinosaur. Pictures of the horrifying creature were posted online and fans of the franchise can't wait to watch the creature on the big screen.
According to reports, the dinosaur's design "is inspired by a mix of a T-Rex, a Rancor and a Xenomorph," and excited film fans rushed to share their thoughts on the villain dino's over on X/Twitter.
Someone wrote: "What's next[?] Zombie dinosaurs or ghost dinosaurs[?]" while another person chimed in: "So is this a Jurassic Park movie or a new Alien movie?"
One fan gushed: "Oh, I see the resemblance with Alien!" as a second typed: "Creepy," while a third person simply added: "This is straight out of a nightmare."
"No way, dino-monster-horror. I'm all in," exclaimed another Jurassic World fanatic. "My nightmares are going to be epic. Thanks, Jurassic World," joked someone else.
"Keeping an open mind. Love the adventure horror tones from the trailer," noted one inquisitive follower of the franchise as a second praised: "Jurassic/Alien is such a fantastic concept for a movie [clapping emoji]."
Another X/Twitter user even confessed that they "were not going to watch this one," but after watching the trailer they admitted Jurassic World: Rebirth "looks pretty badass".
Jurassic World: Rebirth is set to release on 2 July this year and stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Luna Blaise, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein and Rupert Friend.
